With a thankful heart

It takes only a moment to remember we do not control our lives. Although my home and family are safe, so far 20 folks in North Carolina have lost their lives due to the storms and tornadoes that ripped through here yesterday afternoon.  How bright the sun looked this morning, how clear the sky. Yet how my heart ached for the loss of those whom others loved dearly.

may your fingers be flying...Peg

  1. Glad you and yours are safe. Life is so fragile and it is in times like these that we are forced to remember that truth.

  5. We are both so lucky Peg~~ The tornado hit between you and I.....parts of Moore Co are devastated as are parts of Wake Co... We were not here, rather in SC under tornado watches there as well...so, I am so glad we were all spared~~ Pray for those families and individuals who were not...How sad.

  7. I was wondering about you and Faye and so glad she commented here. Thank God you are both safe and thanks for checking in an letting us know. My brother was in the path in Clinton, MS outside of Jackson and his place was a safe haven for several neighbors to gather as they watched devastaion all around. We do pray for every one affected.
