It was kind of exciting! My friend brought me to the area where my two pieces were exhibited and they both had ribbons.
My hybrid S.B. stocking got 2nd
The Holly Fairy received Blue. It was all very touching. All those from our Monday night stitching group that entered won two ribbons each which made it really special. And it was so inspiring to see the other entries. We spent quite some time looking at each one and the all the hard work that went into these projects. I'd like to encourage us all to enter next year as I can see how it keeps our craft alive. Perhaps one day there will be such a demand that Raleigh will find itself with a Cross Stitch store once again. (Though my savings are growing while we wait for that to happen!)
Congrats!! well deserved
