One of my first --years ago

And today's final!  I saw one of these sometime ago in an Antique type shop and didn't buy it, then found this on Ebay.  It has the little scissor holder at the back of the chair too, which I loved.  You can see the buttons I've put in the drawer, but haven't gotten to winding thread around the bobbins yet!  Thought I might reupholster it and may later, the fabric is in good condition and is a nice complement to the honeytones of the wood.  It has really nice propotions and reminds me so much of my Dad who loved to work with wood.

  1. Thank you for visiting my blog!!

This chair that you purchased...I have a soft spot grandmother had one of these and I loved to play with it (makes great a great Barbie chair!) I found one recently, but not nearly as nice as this one.....
